Inking is probably the most mind racking experiences when creating a comic... There are no do overs (though now Photoshop is a big help on the boo boo's) and the pen is as unforgiving as a scorned ex lover. This is the initial stage of inking, I say this because I will go over this inked page again with another size pen; I use a Micron 03 and 05 Pen for both inking stages. The dark border is your regular run of the mill Sharpie marker that you can get just about anywhere for about a buck, the pens usually run between 2 and 3 U.S. Dollars and can be found in many art supply/craft stores. |
